White cardboard and coated paper are the two most used papers in the printing industry. White card paper is also called single powder, coated paper is divided into glossy paper and matte paper. White cardboard has high hardness and is suitable for single-sided printing. Most of the cards are fake covers. Coated paper have coated on both sides is smoother, suitable for double-sided printing. So what's the difference between the two newspapers?

White cardboard is a large number of solid thick paper used in China Printers. Once upon a time, it was planned to divide paper, paperboard and paperboard according to their ration. In the early years, in Shanghai shopping malls, the white thick paper with a ration of about 250 g / m2 (smooth surface, high hardness after calendering, also known as thin paperboard) was called weighing paper. In fact, it's paper jam. The most common paperboard is not colored. It is often called white cardboard. If it is a color, it is called a color card according to the color.

White cardboard is mainly used for printing business cards, certificates, invitation cards, covers, calendars and postcards.

White cardboard is called "white", so it needs high whiteness. The whiteness of Grade A is not less than 93%, that of grade B is not less than 88%, and that of grade C is not less than 83%. If the whiteness is above 90%, it will be a little "bright and dazzling".

White cardboard also requires high stiffness, burst resistance and smoothness (except for white cardboard with embossed pattern). The surface of the paper should be flat, free of stripes, spots and other paper defects, no warping deformation.

Coated paper has bright surface, uniform coating, fast ink absorption and good printability, which is suitable for full color printing. In order to achieve the purpose of fine printing, the base paper surface is processed by coating method.

Coated paper from 80 to 400 GSM. The most commonly used types of paper binding in industry and commerce, such as printing paper, copper paper, and publishing industry.

There is a big difference between the two kinds of paper. Put them together and you can see the difference. White card paper is strong and thick with high breaking resistance. Mainly used for packaging, cards and other products in China printers. Coated paper is bright and smooth, fast ink absorption, bright color. It is mainly used for books and periodicals illustration, paste box surface and other products.

The thickness of ordinary white card is different from that of double copper paper. The thickness of ordinary white cardboard is generally 0.27-0.55mm, and that of ordinary coated paper is 0.06-0.46mm. Generally speaking, the thickness of white cardboard is thicker than copper paper, but the thickness of special copper paper is thicker than white cardboard, so you should choose according to your own needs.
